Just writing a chapter about gratitude, never really got what that was about till now.
Asked how can we be grateful for the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico?
This was the reply
-you can be grateful for
the technology for stemming the flow.
For the clean up process
and the rebalancing of the ocean.
Focusing on these activates the bringing forth of these things.
But millions are focusing on the devastation of the disaster, not the outcome.
Like all gratitudes you do not have to know how they will eventuate, just trust they will.
So here are some sample affirmations, help to bring this into being, by sending these on to your friends.
*I am grateful for the technology that has stopped the flow of the oil into the Gulf of Mexico.
*I am amazed at how easy it is to clean up.
*I love the way the ocean has revitalised and rebalanced itself.

ReplyDeleteAh yes indeed Carol! Gratitude Fills the heart and floods over!! The post is beautiful, and I do know through my day to day experiences how this one thing, can elevate my results (not to mention my mood!) more than any one thing! Thanks for posting! Best, Lisa
ReplyDeleteCarol - Great post and timely for us here in SLC Utah. We experienced an oil spill that ran into one of our beautiful ponds. All of the Ducks were saved with the exception of 4 baby ducklings. Yes we were sad to loose the ducklings but grateful that more lives were saved than lost. Also grateful for the workers who are cleaning it up and grateful for the park as it is so beautiful and such a fun place to hang out with my baby. Beyond Freedom Classic has an exercise that reminded me to focus on the opportunity rather than the adversity. This experience has given Chevron the opportunity to take a look at their business practices...what might this lead to?...i don't know exactly, but I am grateful that they Chevron is taking it seriously and can only expect as leaders they will work towards preventing spills in the future. All the best to you Carol. Much Success!!
